Directions to Yale University:

By Car:
ROUTE 15 (Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways)

From north: Take Exit 61. Drive south on Whitney Avenue for approx. five miles. Shortly after the intersection with Sachem Street, the road will split. Stay to the right; you are now on Temple Street. take a right on Chapel Street. The third cross street is York Street; the School is located on the northwest corner. Parking is available in the general area.

From south: Take exit 57. Drive East on Route 34 (Derby Avenue) for five miles to the fork of Derby Avenue and George Street (three blocks past the Yale Athletic Fields). Bear right on George Street. Continue on George Street to York Street. Turn left on York Street and Chapel Street will be the second cross street. The School is located on the northwest corner. Parking is available on York Street.

Interstate 95:

From north: Turn off turnpike at I-91 North Exit (Hartford, Springfield Exit) and continue for a short distance on I-91 to Trumbull Street Exit 3. Follow I-91 directions below.

From south: Take Exit 49, I-91 North (Hartford, Springfiled). Follow I-91 directions below.

Interstate 91:

From north and south: Take exit 3 (Trumbull Street Exit). Stay in the middle land and continue straight through the traffic light onto Trumbull Street. At the fourth light turn left on Prospect Street. At the traffic light Prospect becomes College Street, Continue on College Street to the second cross street which is Chapel Street. Turn right at Chapel Street. The second cross street is York Street where the schoolis located on the northwest corner of Chapel and York. Parking is available in the general area.

Visitors by train:

On weekdays there are hourly "Metro-North" service to New Haven from Grand Central Station in New York. For weekend schedule and further information, call 800-638-7646. Amtrak service is scheduled daily from Boston or Washington D.C. via Penn Station in New York. Call 800-USA-RAIL (or check the Amtrak Web site). Local taxi service is available from the railroad station to the School.
